Dishes sure to get your stomach growling include buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup, fresh berries and coconut yoghurt; bean and vegetable burger with sauerkraut, homemade ketchup and paprika parsnip chips; and raw cacao and maple syrup brownie for a sumptuous sweet treat.

A haven for county vegans and vegetarians, Asparagasm in Nailsworth offers a menu to delight everyone, whatever your dietary preferences, with everything from Equinox Kombucha and tree-nut cheese, to raw, sugar-free cakes.

Diners can look forward to superfood mixed salads with raw ranch dressing, vinaigrette, or avocado mayo; and soup of the day with vegetable crisps and raw bread, in addition to hot stew specials; or raw specials such as tarts, wraps, pizza or tacos.


3. Kindness & Co


A health food café located in the centre of Cheltenham, Kindness & Co believes diet and nutrition are at the centre of a healthy and happy life, with its ever-changing menu, which use only wholesome and natural ingredients, reflecting its ethos perfectly.

Whether you’re craving a comforting bowl of porridge, a refreshing salad, or warming hot dish, delights such as turmeric-roasted cauliflower; chickpea tagine; sweetcorn fritters; and banana oat cakes have appeared on the menu, which can be washed down with a smoothie or turmeric latte.


4. Star Anise Arts Café
