Couples can now tie the knot at Twyning Park after the impressive family-run stately home near Tewkesbury opened its doors as an elegant new Gloucestershire wedding venue.
The grade II-listed building is located just in front of the scenic River Avon and is set on five acres of immaculate gardens which add to the charm of the glorious rural venue.
The house, which dates back to the mid 17th century, has been given a new lease of life by owners Charlotte and Will Simmons who wanted to open their family home to share with couples celebrating their special days.
The venue benefits from a wealth of original features, including oak panelling, sash windows, ornate stairways, and homely fireplaces, with couples able to host their ceremonies in a choice of rooms.
There are currently four rooms available at the house including one honeymoon suite featuring floor-to-ceiling windows so newlyweds can fully immerse in the views over the River Avon. There are plans to extend to seven bedrooms, set to be completed in 2018, offering more space for the wedding party.
Twyning Park only hosts a small number of exclusives weddings a year to ensure each couple gets the necessary amount of planning and attention to have a truly memorable day.
