Elmore Court is an impressive historic stately home located a stone’s throw from the River Severn and with stunning views of the surrounding Cotswold hills.
The grade II-listed property dates back to 1580 and, following an extensive renovation project by owner Anselm Guise and his wife Sarah, first opened its doors to welcome wedding parties in 2013 – as featured on Channel 4’s Country House Rescue with Ruth Watson.
Couples planning to get hitched at Elmore Court will have exclusive use of the house, which features an eclectic mix of architecture, as well as stunning gardens.

Elmore Court can host civil, spiritual and other ceremonies and The Hall, complete with beautiful stained glass windows, makes an elegant light-filled setting for the proceedings.
As the biggest room in the house, The Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests to witness the occasion, and its neutral décor lends itself to a host of themes.
The Drawing Room is the ideal space to welcome intimate wedding ceremonies with capacity for 55 people, while The Morning Room can accommodate very small parties, with the option to have a larger blessing in the 13th-century Church of St John the Baptist, located less than a mile from the venue.
When it comes to the reception, Elmore Court is geared up to host celebrations in The Gillyflower. Featured in BBC’s Permission Impossible, The Gillyflower is a newly built space that’s completely soundproofed, making it the ideal spot for dining and dancing into the night.
The field in front of The Gillyflower makes a lovely outdoor space for pre-dinner drinks and, once inside, the room offers a wonderful ambiance for the wedding breakfast.
Food and drink is at the core of Elmore Court and the team of chefs offer couples and guests a true culinary experience on the big day. The team works closely with the bride and groom to create a menu that draws on local, seasonal ingredients.
Elmore Court boasts 16 beautifully decorated rooms to accommodate the wedding party, including the impressive Master Suite and The Smoking Room, which are ideal for using as the bridal suite.
