Elmore Court is an impressive historic stately home located a stone’s throw from the River Severn and with stunning views of the surrounding Cotswold hills.
The grade II-listed property dates back to 1580 and first opened its doors to welcome wedding parties in 2013. Home to handsome gardens and characterful features, Elmore Court’s ethos is to create weddings that are beautiful, unique and personal to each couple.
Budding brides and grooms who tie the knot at Elmore Court will have exclusive use of the impressive house, which features an eclectic mix of architecture, as well as the stunning gardens. Whether they’re planning an indoor or outdoor celebration, there’s a range of ceremony spaces to choose from.

Elmore Court can host civil and other ceremonies at The Hall, a picture-perfect space complete with beautiful stained-glass windows, which provides an elegant, light-filled setting for the proceedings.
As the biggest room in the house, The Hall can accommodate up to 200 guests to witness the occasion, and its neutral décor lends itself to a host of themes.
The Drawing Room is the ideal space to welcome intimate wedding ceremonies with capacity for 55 people, while The Morning Room can accommodate very small parties, with the option to have a larger blessing in the 13th-century Church of St John the Baptist, located less than a mile from the venue.
Meanwhile award-winning space, The Gillyflower, provides a setting that’s romantic and totally unique, having been sustainably built from earth and timber. Licensed for ceremonies, it’s also perfect for dining and dancing into the night and is completely soundproofed.
Elmore Court’s lovely lawns and fields make a lovely outdoor space for alfresco drinks and complements a range of wedding themes, from festival fun to countryside celebration.
Food and drink is at the core of Elmore Court and the team of chefs offer couples and guests a true culinary experience on the big day. The team works closely with the bride and groom to create a menu that draws on local, seasonal ingredients.
Elmore Court boasts 16 beautifully decorated rooms to accommodate the wedding party, with the newlyweds able to retreat to their choice of Bridal Suite at the end of their special day.
